SIDAS Gel Toe Caps allow you to enjoy your sporting activities fully. As a preventive measure, they prevent the appearance of black toenails in the event of footwear impact. They relieve pain and protect your toes from impact. They are mainly used for the big toe.

In case of pain, they provide immediate relief by absorbing the shock. You can use them in case of nail loss to protect the toe. These toe caps are sold in sets of 2 and are washable and reusable. Finally, their length is adjustable. You can cut them with scissors if necessary.

Good protection, can start to slide around

These do a good job of protecting your big toe. I used these for most of a 200 mile ultra and I'll definitely keep using them for big days out. My one concern is that they will start to stretch and slide around, especially after many hours in steep terrain, and can ball up and cause some issues under the big toe. I ended up wearing them on the outside of a pair of toe socks which seemed to help keep them in place better.

Be careful about sizing!

I live in a remote place so unable to return as they took weeks to arrive. I ordered two sizes, intending for one to be used on my big toe and the other for the rest of the toes. The L/XL toe caps are massive and definitely not meant for a lady's big toe. The S/M fit my big toe, no idea what I'd have to do to cap the rest of my toes! Will have to resort to taping like I've always done... Too bad.
